Celtic remained five points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership following a workmanlike 3-1 win over Hamilton at Celtic Park on Wednesday night.

Brendan Rodgers made both personnel and formation changes following the 2-2 draw with Hibs, bringing in Kristoffer Ajer, Nir Bitton and Stuart Armstrong, and going to a 3-4-3 formation.

The Hoops took the lead in the 12th minute, with man of the match Olivier Ntcham volleying home a Scott Sinclair cross.

Hamilton then equalised with a goal out of nothing by Daniel Redmond, before Celtic killed the game with two goals in a minute before half-time.

James Forrest and Sinclair both scored in style, to put the Hoops 3-1 up.

The second-half was relatively quiet, with Hamilton having as many chances as Celtic, with Bingham coming close with an effort that hit the post.

Rodgers will be relatively pleased to see the Hoops get back to winning ways, but will want a better performance in the upcoming match against Hearts.
