Chelsea confirmed line-up: Midfielder axed against West Brom
By Harry Sykes
Nemanja Matic has been recalled to the Chelsea starting XI for Sunday’s Premier League clash against West Brom at Stamford Bridge.
The Serbian midfielder has been reinstated in the team after missing the 3-1 win over Manchester City last weekend due to injury.
Cesc Fabregas is omitted from Antonio Conte’s side despite his fine performance at Etihad Stadium, which included a sensational diagonal pass to Diego Costa for the equaliser.
It is the only change from the side that beat City, with Pedro keeping out Willian from the starting line-up despite the Brazilian’s goal as a second-half substitute last weekend.
Both Fabregas and Willian have to settle for places on the bench.

Conte has put his faith in the players who have catapulted the side to the top of the league after a run of eight consecutive wins in the competition.
Arsenal’s 3-1 win over Stoke lifted them to the Premier League summit on Saturday evening, but Chelsea can regain top spot if they secure at least one point against West Brom.
Tony Pulis’ side are eighth in the league with a haul of 20 points from 14 matches and will be regarded as stern opposition.
