Chelsea fans have been left divided the Professional Footballer’s Association has named it’s top flight team of the year for this season.
The accolade, which is voted on by fellow professionals in the Premier League, is to decide which players have impressed the most across the course of the season.
As has been the case in the league, Chelsea and Tottenham lead the way in this year’s team, with four players from each side named in the XI.

The Blues see Gary Cahill, David Luiz, N’golo Kante and Eden Hazard named in the line-up after an impressive season which has seen them top the league table for much of the season.
The news comes just days before the FA Cup semi-final clash between Chelsea and Tottenham, who are also fighting it out for the Premier League title.
However Chelsea fans were left divided over the inclusion, and exclusion, of a number of players.
One absence from the side which rattled a number of fans, including those from other clubs, was that of Spanish wing back Cesar Azpilicueta, who has flourished under Antonio Conte and his tactical decision of playing three at the back.
