Chelsea fans were left open-mouthed by Cole Palmer's "incredible" performance in their Premier League clash v Tottenham.

Enzo Maresca's side ran out 4-3 winners away from home after early goals from Dominic Solanke and Dejan Kulusevski were met by strikes from Jadon Sancho and Enzo Fernandez, before Palmer bagged a brace and Son Heung-min scored a late consolation.

Two goals, both from the spot, and some magic creativity in the buildup to Fernandez's strike left watching supporters amazed once again by Palmer's talent.

Despite the frantic nature of the game, it was the 22-year-old who grabbed the headlines once again as a clip of his Panenka penalty quickly went viral on social media.

The likes of Rio Ferdinand joined fans in their admiration of his display as, having been abused and pelted with missiles from the stands, the forward silenced his critics once again.

Palmer took his tally to 11 goals and six assists in 15 Premier League appearances so far this season, proving once again to be one of the best players in the division.

A fantastic display against one of Chelsea's biggest rivals was capped by the nonchalance and confidence of a Panenka in such a high-pressure game.

Palmer has quickly become a fans' favourite not just at Chelsea but among neutrals too for his swagger and ability on the pitch, and they could not believe what they were seeing.

Following the game, supporters took to social media to label Palmer "incredible" and "unbelievable", while he was also hailed "one of the best in the world".
