Patrick Bamford has joined Norwich on loan, it was confirmed on Saturday night.

The Chelsea striker has completed a move to Alex Neil's team until the end of the season.

The 22-year-old is in line to make his debut against Tottenham in the Premier League next Tuesday after the terms of the deal was sealed on Saturday.

Bamford signed a new contract with Chelsea last summer before he was loaned out to Crystal Palace.

However, the England Under-21 international's loan spell was cut short earlier this month after he barely got a look in under Alan Pardew at Selhurst Park.

Bamford had a successful season on loan at Middlesbrough last season, scoring 19 goals and supplying seven assists in 44 matches.
Bamford told the club's website: "I'm really happy to be here, and the sooner I'm able to get involved the better.

"That's what I want to do personally, but it's also about helping Norwich to get the points required to stay in the league."
