Chris Sutton delivers instant two-word verdict on Celtic Europa League draw
Celtic legend Chris Sutton has taken to social media to react to the news his former club will face Zenit Saint Petersburg in the next round of the Europa League, saying it’s a “tough draw”.
Brendan Rodgers’ side will face the Russian Premier League outfit over two legs in the New Year, in what will be the first meeting between the two clubs.
Celtic were able to clinch a place in the last-32 of the Europa League, despite losing 1-0 to Anderlecht at Celtic Park in the Champions League last week.
The Hoops finished third in their Champions League group, behind PSG and Bayern Munich, thus confirming their place in the competition.
Sutton took to Twitter to shortly after the draw was announced and admitted he is expecting a tough game.

Celtic face a difficult tie against the team who are managed by former Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini. The Russian side qualified for the last-32 by finishing top of Group L, which included Real Sociedad, Rosenborg and Vardar.

Zenit, who are currently third in the Russian Premier League, won the Europa League title back in 2008 beating Rangers 2-0 in the final in Manchester. They would go on to beat Champions League winners Manchester United 2-1 in the UEFA Super Cup.
