By Will Butcher
Chris Sutton has named eight Celtic stars in his Scottish Premiership team of the week after their 5-1 thrashing of Old Firm rivals Rangers.
Brendan Rodgers watched his side win their fifth Glasgow derby of the season in the six meeting between the two sides, as five different Hoops stars got their name on the score sheet.
Posting on his personal Twitter account, ex-Bhoys striker Sutton named all four defenders from Celtic’s win in his side, as they limited the Gers to only a consolation goal through Kenny Miller.
Mikael Lustig, Dedryck Boyata, Jozo Simunovic and Kieran Tierney all made the side, while Stuart Armstrong, Scott Brown, Scott Sinclair and Leigh Griffiths were also included.

Celtic’s domination over Pedro Caixinha’s side began inside the first 10 minutes, as Sinclair dispatched a penalty following a foul from Gers left-back Myles Beerman.
Griffiths doubled the lead in just his first start since December, before McGregor scored his second goal in two Old Firm derbies with a classy finish just inside the penalty area.
Defenders Boyata and Lustig rounded off the victory either side of Miller’s consolation, as the Hoops continued their unbeaten run at the top of the Scottish Premiership with the victory.
Celtic are on course to complete the treble and could finish the league with a record points total, with the current record standing at 103 points set by Celtic in 2001-02.
