Outspoken football pundit Chris Sutton has for once delivered a positive opinion on Rangers, naming goalkeeper Wes Foderingham in his team of the week.
The former Celtic striker is often highly critical of the side from Ibrox and has been especially loud in recent times due to the club’s poor form.
However, he believes that 26-year-old Foderingham was the Premiership’s standout goalkeeper this weekend despite Rangers falling to a 2-1 defeat against Inverness on Friday evening.
The experienced shot stopper saved Iain Vigurs’ penalty in the clash before pulling off a brilliant save from a Greg Tansey effort.
Many were very pleased with the performance of Foderingham despite the defeat and Sutton was also, naming the goalkeeper in his SPL team of the week.

Foderingham has played in 30 matches for Rangers in total this season, but he has managed to keep just 10 clean sheets, while conceding 32 himself.
He had come under some criticism before the match at the Caledonian Stadiun, but fans will now be hoping to see similar displays from him like the one against Inverness.
The club have fifth placed St. Johnstone coming up next on Wednesday and Foderingham could prove crucial in earning his side the all important three points.
