Former Celtic striker Chris Sutton has named Rangers trio Lee Hodson, Clint Hill and Jason Holt in his team of the week.

BT Sport pundit Sutton identified their fine performances in his weekly feature after the Gers earned a hard-fought 1-1 draw against their fierce Glaswegian rivals at Celtic Park on Sunday afternoon.

Veteran centre-back Hill scored the dramatic late equaliser for the side which was led by Graeme Murty in his last match in charge.

Meanwhile, Hodson helped keep Scott Sinclair quiet down his side of the pitch with Holt also helping to break up play in the centre of the park.

Sutton also included Celtic trio Craig Gordon, Kieran Tierney and Stuart Armstong in his team from the match, as revealed on his personal Twitter account on Monday.

Rangers fans will have been happy with the way their side never gave up on Sunday and were justly rewarded for their efforts.

Additionally, their team put an end to the three-match winning run for Celtic in the Old Firm derbies this season.

The Ibrox giants’ next goal will be to close the 33 points gap between themselves and the Hoops, which they will be hoping to do under Pedro Caixinha.

In other Rangers news, Sutton also hit back at Gers fans on Sunday after the draw.
