Chris Sutton names seven Rangers and Celtic players in TOTW, makes one odd selection
By Danny Wright
Chris Sutton has named more Celtic players than Rangers players in his team of the week after both of the Glasgow giants won their respective fixtures at the weekend.
The Hoops created British football history with a 4-0 hammering of St Johnstone to move their unbeaten run to 63 games, breaking a 100-year-old British record.
That has lead ex-Parkhead striker to name Moussa Dembele, Stuart Armstrong, Kieran Tierney and James Forrest – who he has oddly selected in the right-back slot over Mikael Lustig – in his team of the week.
Rangers won their second game in a row with Graeme Murty in caretaker charge as they dispatched of Partick with relative ease thanks to a 3-0 win.
Ross McCrorie, Jason Holt and Daniel Candeias were named by Sutton his his team of the week, which he posted on his personal Twitter account on Monday.

Holt and McCrorie have been thrust into the first-team in recent weeks due to injuries to Bruno Alves, Fabio Cardoso and Graham Dorrans, but the fringe players seem to be doing just fine in Sutton’s eyes.
Celtic have also had their difficulties with injuries in defence, but Sutton had fans scratching their heads with his decision to put Forrest at right-back in his side when Lustig played at there at weekend, and did a decent enough job to merit his own inclusion.
In other Rangers news, this 56-year-old is open to talks with the Gers after they made an approach.
