Chris Sutton predicts Celtic clash v Hamilton

By Danny Wright

Chris Sutton believes that his former club Celtic will get back to winning ways against Hamilton in the Scottish Premiership on Friday night.

The BT Sport pundit predicted on his personal Twitter account on Friday that the Hoops will ease to a 2-0 victory at the SuperSeal Stadium to earn three points which will put them back on top of the table before the weekend’s action kicks off.

Celtic drew 1-1 with St. Johnstone in their last outing beforr the international break after they lost 4-3 in Kazakhstan against Astana in the Champions League.

Brendan Rodgers has rarely gone two matches without winning during his time in charge at Parkhead, and there’s no doubt that he will be keen to ensure a third game passes by without victory on Friday.

Hamilton have also enjoyed a decent start to the campaign by their standards as they sit fourth in the table on seven points, and if there’s a major shock waiting to happen at the SuperSeal Stadium, they could leapfrog the Bhoys with a big win.

After losing their season opener against table-topping Aberdeen, the Accies have gone on a three game run without defeat which included a very impressive 3-1 win at Easter Road against Neil Lennon’s Hibernian side.

In other Celtic news, Rodgers has admitted that the Hoops came close to signing this towering centre-back on deadline day.
