By Harvey Byrne
Chris Sutton took another dig at Rangers on Wednesday leading into Celtic’s Champions League qualifying clash on Wednesday when predicting the scoreline.
The Hoops were preparing for a second leg clash at Parkhead after running out 2-0 victors in the first leg.
They made light work of the clash, winning 4-0 on Wednesday, resulting in a 6-0 aggregate victory.
It was an expected result for the Glasgow giants, but when one fan suggested to Sutton on social media that Linfield could get a result on the night, he responded with a dig at Rangers.
The former Celtic man replied on his personal Twitter account, stating: “You never know Scott…. Well you do…But I suppose Rangers going out was a shock….” in refrence to the Gers humiliating Europa League qualifying round defeat against Progres Niederkorn.

The ex-Hoops striker is never one to shy away when an opportunity presents itself for Sutton to take a hit at Rangers and since going into punditry he has been very vocal of the goings on at the Ibrox club.
He will be hoping that Celtic can emerge victorious over the rest of Scotland once again in the next campaign and they have been drawn Norwegian club Rosenborg in the next round of the Champions League.
Meanwhile, Rangers fans will be hoping for vast improvement from the last season.
In other Rangers news, former boss Mark Warburton is weighing up another raid on the Gers.
