Thomas Christiansen has confirmed that he has a fully fit squad on his hands ahead of Leeds United’s clash against Wolves at Molineux on Wednesday night.
Leeds were without Pierre-Michel Lasogga and Stuart Dallas in the win against Middlesbrough at Elland Road on Sunday while Cameron Borthwick-Jackson has also been out recently through injury.
Lasogga missed the Boro tie due to illness while Dallas has been recovering from a heavily bruised ankle he sustained on international duty for Northern Ireland earlier this month.
Left-back Borthwick-Jackson, who was also on loan at Wolves last season, appears to also be back in contention for the trip to the West Midlands after suffering an ankle injury.
When asked about Lasogga’s fitness, Christiansen revealed the major boost to his selection ahead of the game against Wolves.
“I said he [Lasogga] was sick and we will see now if he is able to come in now. Everyone is fit,” said the Leeds manager, as quoted by the Yorkshire Evening Post on Tuesday.
Leeds did well to overcome Middlesbrough on Sunday to move up to seventh in the Championship table, but face an altogether different test at Molineux this week against table-topping Wolves.
Nuno Espirito Santo, like Christiansen, has rung the changes since he was hired in the summer and has so far managed to get them firing on all cylinders.
In other Leeds United news, a Sky Sports pundit has predicted the outcome of the Whites’ clash with Wolves.
