'Come home' – Leeds fans desperate for this man as new manager after stunning official statement
Arsene Wenger announced that he would be leaving Arsenal at the end of the season – and Leeds fans have piled onto Twitter to call for him as their new manager.
After huge amounts of speculation, Wenger finally decided it was time to call the end to his Arsenal career
The stunning news was announced on the official Arsenal site on Friday morning and Wenger will leave at the end of the season.
Leeds fans are desperate for a new manager after a disastrous run of form under Paul Heckingbottom, and they would love to see the Arsenal man drop down a division and lead them to glory.
We’re not entirely sure how realistic that is, but if you don’t ask, you don’t get – and Leeds fans are unanimous in their calls for Wenger.
They’re also more than happy for Arsenal to steam in and poach Heckingbottom from them.
