Conor Gallagher is "definitely" leaving Chelsea and will lead a trio of high-profile exits in the off-season, sources have told Football Insider.

Speaking on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, senior correspondent Pete O’Rourke revealed that both Armando Broja and Trevoh Chalobah will also make way as the club look to rake in pure profit for homegrown stars this summer.

Gallagher will have just 12 months left on his contract in June and is no closer to renewing his deal at Stamford Bridge following a recent halt in talks.

Tottenham have held a long-term interest in the midfielder and made a big push to bring him to the club last summer (2023).

The England international, who will have aspirations of going to the European Championships with England this summer, has made 39 appearances this term and has regularly captained Mauricio Pochettino's side.

Gallagher 'definitely' leaving Chelsea - club want to cash in on home-grown trio

Meanwhile, Broja and Chalobah have struggled with injury in recent seasons but are under long contracts at Chelsea - a sign of their once-promising futures at the club.

Speaking on Football Insider’s Inside Track Podcast, O’Rourke said: “It’ll be the homegrown assets to go first, they’re the obvious ones who will bring in pure profit.

“You’ve got Conor Gallagher, who hasn’t signed a new contract.

“There’s no doubt there will be lots of interest in him, and I’m sure he’ll have his pick of clubs.

“He’s no closer to agreeing a new deal, even though he says he wants to stay.

“Trevoh Chalobah has come back into the fold but he’s wanted elsewhere and I expect Chelsea to be open to offers.

“Armando Broja will probably also be moved on. His loan move to Fulham hasn’t worked out, but I expect him to go.

“They are three I definitely expect to move on.”
