Crysencio Summerville is not pushing to leave Leeds United this summer in an unexpected boost to their hopes of keeping him at the club.

Speaking on the latest edition of Football Insider's Inside Track podcast, senior correspondent Pete O'Rourke revealed that interested clubs are yet to meet Leeds' asking price despite plenty of interest in his situation.

Meanwhile, Fulham are considering signing Summerville as a replacement for Willian who has yet to sign a new deal at Craven Cottage after his contract expired in June.

Summerville is still expected to leave Elland Road before the transfer window closes given the level of interest, with clubs expected to eventually meet the asking price.

Leeds United handed Crysencio Summerville boost after new twist

Summerville has attracted interest from clubs across Europe this summer, with the likes of Liverpool, Chelsea and PSG also tracking his progress.

However, any formal offers are yet to materialise, with Fulham, West Ham, Crystal Palace and Brighton also among the clubs to have shown interest in the winger.

Last season, the Dutchman picked up the Championship Player of the Season award after scoring 19 goals and providing nine assists in 43 league games.

Leeds' £35million price tag comes following the sale of Archie Gray to Tottenham in a £40million deal earlier this summer.

The club remain fixed on their current asking price despite attempts to bring Summerville's valuation down, as they hope a bidding war will take place later in the window.

However, the winger is not currently pushing to make the move despite rumours that he could force a move away from Elland Road if no deal materialised.
