Crystal Palace are on the hunt for their next manager and have been regularly linked to Robbie Keane.

Oliver Glasner is set to depart Selhurst Park at the end of the season, and his successor is yet to be named by the Eagles.

However, m4sport.hu on 22 May has now reported that Keane is set to resign from his position at Ferencvaros.

As a result, the odds on an appointment at Crystal Palace this summer have tumbled down to 10/1, making him the fourth-favourite for the role.

Keane could be taking over a Palace side in the Europa League next season if they are able to win their Conference League final against Rayo Vallecano next week.

Could Robbie Keane succeed at Crystal Palace?

Keane may be early into his management career, but he has no doubt impressed.

The former Republic of Ireland international has won trophies with both Maccabi Tel Aviv and Ferencvaros, including the Hungarian cup this season.

Notably, he was also highly successful in the Europa League this season, guiding Ferencvaros to the Europa League round of 16.

This could be a highly important factor for Palace, considering there is a good chance they are also in the competition next season.

If he can combine this with domestic success, there is every chance that an appointment at the Eagles could go well.

Who else are Crystal Palace linked with?

Football Insider has revealed that Crystal Palace are also chasing Andoni Iraola ahead of a potential summer appointment.

The Eagles are “doing everything they can” to convince the Bournemouth manager to make the switch to Selhurst Park this summer, and Chelsea’s appointment of Xabi Alonso has boosted their chances.

However, in recent days, Iraola has been linked with a switch to Liverpool due to Arne Slot’s recent results, which could damage Palace’s hopes of pulling off a summer swoop.

Iraola is set to leave the Cherries this summer when his contract expires, and could guide them to Champions League football on the final day of the 2025-26 campaign after already securing European football.

However, it remains to be seen who Palace will opt to appoint, with plenty of options available for the club.
