Dan Friedkin has a new look executive team ready to be appointed once his takeover of Everton is completed, according to a report from The i.

The businessman's Friedkin Group [TFG] are apparently still on track to complete their purchase of the club from Farhad Moshiri by the middle of December, when a new board of directors will also be announced.

That will inevitably lead to questions over the future of manager Sean Dyche, with the Toffees currently 15th in the Premier League, two points clear of the relegation zone.

It is expected that until a takeover is complete, any decision over the future of the Everton manager will remain entirely with Moshiri, although TFG are said to be "acutely aware" of a need to stay in the Premier League.

As a result the 53-year-old's position is not thought to be under any imminent threat, despite growing concerns over recent performances.

Football Insider Opinion

It seems hard to imagine that there will be any change in the Everton dugout before any takeover is complete, given what this and previous reports have suggested.

However, once that change in ownership is confirmed it could be a different story, with frustration at performances under Dyche already emerging from the Goodison Park crowd.

The club also face a tough run of fixtures in the next few weeks, taking on the likes of Man United, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, Man City and Nottingham Forest between now and the new year.

Everton
Everton fans may wonder how much longer Sean Dyche will be in charge for.

There may not be too many chances for Dyche to win over Friedkin in that run of games, putting further pressure on him.

A new board of directors and executives will likely also have their own ideas for the direction they want to take the club in too.

All of that means while Dyche may be safe for now, it would not be a huge surprise if he is moved on from his position at Everton in the not too distant future.
