Danny Mills predicts Celtic v Hibernian amid Guardiola and Mourinho verdicts
Ange Postecoglou has a big “opportunity” to secure his first Celtic trophy against Hibernian this weekend, according to Danny Mills.
The former England defender, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, claimed the 56-year-old could emulate Jose Mourinho by securing a Scottish League Cup win.
Hibernian are managerless ahead of their cup final showdown against Celtic on Sunday (19 December).
Speaking at the pre-game press conference today, Postecoglou insisted he is “looking forward” to the clash, claiming the final promises to be a “special day”.
Mills suggested the trophy could be important to the Australian establishing a winning mentality at Celtic.
He drew comparisons to Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola’s dominance in the English League Cup.

“They have to win the game,” Mills told Football Insider‘s Connor Whitley.
“What an opportunity for the manager to get his first trophy. It doesn’t matter what trophy it is, it’s his first.
“Look at Man City with the League Cup. Guardiola and Mourinho are both managers who have put a marker down and let everyone know about their winning mentality by winning that trophy.
“Celtic are outright favourites and if they play to their ability, they will win the game. That being said, all of the pressure is on them to perform. Hibs have got nothing to lose.”
Celtic are four points adrift of Rangers at the top of the Scottish Premiership, with each side winning each of their last five games.
Finalists Hibernian beat the Gers in a stunning semi-final upset.
