David Moyes to fear Iliman Ndiaye exit as Everton star passes Man City audition with flying colours

Iliman Ndiaye is already being linked with a big-money exit this summer, and his chances of leaving Everton just increased.

Although the winger’s goals have dried up in recent weeks, netting just twice in his last 10 Premier League matches, six goals and three assists should not be frowned upon.

Especially with Jack Grealish sidelined, his creative partner in crime, it has been a difficult second half of the season in the final third, but the Toffees are still making a push for European football.

Qualification for Europe could really impact Everton’s transfer plans ahead of the summer window, but David Moyes’ success on Merseyside could negatively affect the current squad for next season.

Iliman Ndiaye could have sunk Man City’s title chances

Ndiaye has long been linked with Man City, and he had the chance to prove first-hand to Pep Guardiola that the manager needs to splash the cash on his signature this summer.

Football Insider understands that Everton will reject moves for Ndiaye, but should one of Europe’s elite come knocking for him at the end of the season, it would be difficult to persuade him to stay.

While he was unable to hit the back of the net during the 3-3 draw at the Hill Dickinson Stadium on Monday, 4 May, there was plenty to like about his performance.

Had it not been for Gianluigi Donnarumma, the Senegalese international might have finished the game with two goals to his name, and undoubtedly, the Toffees would have sealed all three points.

David Moyes is already frustrated by questions about Everton star

Understandably, a lot of rumours have been floating around the Hill Dickinson Stadium, not only about the dangerous winger, but also when it comes to Grealish, James Garner and Tyler Dibling.

All of that noise appears to be taking its toll on the manager, who has to keep answering questions that he simply can’t answer ahead of the summer transfer window.

When asked by the media about Ndiaye only having two years left on his contract, Moyes quickly interjected: “Three, because we’ve got an option as well. So no, there’s no [real concern]. Not worth the question you’re asking me.”

Clubs from all over Europe are bound to come knocking for Ndiaye’s signature, though, and with another impressive display against Man City, it could be Guardiola that makes contact at the end of the season.
