Decision pending: Tottenham attacker to make key revelation over future
By Matt Farr
Tottenham attacker Vincent Janssen has revealed he will wait to make a decision on his future at the club until the start of pre-season.
The 22-year-old has struggled to make an impact at the Premier League club since his £17million last summer, and Mauricio Pochettino could be tempted to cash-in on him after just one season.
He managed just six goals from 38 appearances in all competitions last term, of which just six were in the Premier League, where he played second fiddle to England star Harry Kane.
But speculation is mounting over a potential move away from the club, and the Daily Mirror have reported that Tottenham will consider cutting their losses on their attacking flop.
However, Janssen insists that no decision will be made on his future until he returns from his post-season holiday, but has not ruled out the possibility of a transfer.

He told Dutch publication De Telegraaf: “I initially found it difficult with my role as a substitute, sometimes sitting in the stands at Spurs, but I learned to deal with it.
“That [my future] is a matter for after the holidays. I want the prospect of more playing time, but otherwise I’m now better keeping it on my mind.
“I cannot say anything about that [a return to the Eredivisie] either. I keep all options open.”
Tottenham boss Pochettino could potentially look to add another goalscorer to his ranks in the forthcoming window, in a bid to provide more reliable cover to premier hitman, Kane.
The England international scored 35 goals from 38 appearances in all competitions last season, but Tottenham are not willing to run the risk of being without a prolific backup option if he were to suffer a long-term setback.
Kane was sidelined for a short period towards the end of last season, and although Tottenham came through relatively unscathed, they are not willing to take their chances.
But with Janssen’s key transfer revelation pending, he could take a summer exit off the table by re-affirming his commitment to the club.
The striker is currently on international duty with the Holland senior side, for whom he has scored five goals in 11 appearances.
In other Tottenham transfer news, the club are reportedly in a three-way race to sign this Ligue 1 defender.
