Nottingham Forest finally bagged all three points on Saturday with an exciting 5-2 win away at QPR in the Championship.
Lee Tomlin scored a first half brace to give Aitor Karanka’s side a healthy lead and Joe Lolley added a third from the loanee’s assist.
Further efforts from Matty Cash and Ben Brereton capped off a fine attacking display.
And Tomlin, the Cardiff City loanee, who only arrived at the City Ground in January has already made a name for himself at the Reds after notching up his third in five games.
Following the victory, the 29-year-old took to social media to show fans how keen he is to do well at the club for himself.
And as I’m on loan at forest I’m desperate to do well my self for this great club ????????

However, Cardiff supporters were not complimentary of their striker following this particular social media escapade and responded as such.
The Leicester-born forward found himself in and out of the team under Neil Warnock after scoring just one goal before his switch to the Reds in January.
Victory for Forest puts them up to 15th place in the table, ten points clear of the relegation zone despite fears that they might be dragged into a battle with the bottom three.
Defensively speaking, there are still concerns at the back and despite the win, the two QPR goals highlighted their issues.
With 53 goals now registered against them throughout the entirety of this campaign, it makes their rear guard the third worst in the Championship.
They have a chance to put even more daylight between themselves and the teams at the bottom on Saturday with a visit of relegation candidates Birmingham City to the City Ground.
