Ibrox Sources: Rangers 24-yr-old tells club he wants to quit amid multiple English offers

Joe Dodoo has told Rangers he wants to quit the club permanently before the transfer window shuts this month, Football Insider understands.
The attacker, 24, has been surplus to requirements in the opening month-and-a-half of the season despite a creditable campaign at Blackpool last season.
Ibrox sources have told Football Insider that Dodoo has made it clear he wants to move in the next 10 days after he received multiple offers from English League One and League Two clubs.
Dodoo is the subject of interest from south of the border from teams keen to sign him both permanently or on a season-long loan.
This comes after the versatile, who can play out wide or down the middle, scored six goals and provided four assists in 25 appearances in all competitions for third-tier Blackpool last season.

Back at Rangers, Dodoo has been frozen out of the team and has not made a single matchday squad this season.
Rangers’ first-choice forward is Alfredo Morelos, who’s already scored nine goals in the new campaign, and his able deputy is Jermaine Defoe, who’s netted six times.
Dodoo, who was brought to Rangers by Mark Warburton in 2016 on a free transfer , has one more year remaining on his contract at the club.
Capped by England at Under-18 level, he scored five goals in 27 appearances for Rangers but has spent the last two seasons on loan at Blackpool and Charlton Athletic.
