Done deal: Celtic agree terms of centre-forward move after paperwork finalised

By Harry Sykes

Celtic striker PJ Crossan has joined Alloa Athletic on loan until January, it has been announced.

The Scottish giants revealed on their official website and Twitter account on Friday night that the young forward, 18, had completed a move to the Scottish League One side.

Crossan’s temporary exit, which ends on 4 January, comes after he spent last season in Celtic’s development squad following his transfer from Dunfermline Athletic last summer.

He was on target for the Hoops’ second-string on Tuesday night as they kicked off their league campaign with an emphatic 4-0 victory away to Falkirk.

Centre-forward Crossan has a contract with Celtic that runs until the summer of 2019 after penning a three-year deal upon his arrival.
