Done deal: Celtic senior staffer completes switch to PL club

David Moss has completed a move from Celtic to become Huddersfield Town’s new Head of Football Operations, it was announced on Thursday morning.
The Terriers, who recently achieved promotion to the Premier League through the play-off, confirmed the appointment on their official Twitter account.
The 48-year-old has left his role of Head of Development Scouting with Celtic and will now be looking to help Huddersfield during their first season in the Premier League.

David Wagner’s side have begun preparations for the top flight by bringing in the experienced Moss and he replaces Stuart Webber and Ross Wilson at the Kirklees Stadium.
Huddersfield managed to beat Reading on penalties in the play-offs and will now be looking to assemble a squad that can compete in England’s top tier.

Meanwhile, Celtic have said farewell to their former talent spotter who is credited for deals for the likes of Virgil van Dijk, Victor Wanyama and current star Moussa Dembele.
Moss has ended his seven-year spell with the Scottish champions and has played an important role in their recent success.
Brendan Rodgers could well be looking for a replacement now as they look to build on their sixth consecutive top flight title in Scotland.
In other Celtic transfer news, they are set to win the race to sign an 11-goal winger.
