It has been previously reported that Celtic had offered Mazis a three-year contract but that has not been confirmed by the club.
Football Insider verdict:
Celtic have previous when it comes to snapping up golden Aussie talent. Rogic joined from Central Coast Mariners after a spell at Mazis’ previous club Belconnen and has made a huge impact at Parkhead. If Mazis can follow in the imperious footsteps of his countryman and blaze a trail in to the first team, it could be a spectacular deal for the Hoops, who had a good look at the youngster during his November trial.
In other Celtic transfer news, the plug has been pulled at the last minute on the Hoops loaning a left-sided player.
