Done deal: Leeds midfielder seals temporary exit

Leeds United midfielder Yosuke Ideguchi has signed for Cultural Leonesa on loan until the end of the season, it has been confirmed.
The Spanish second-tier side confirmed on their official website on Thursday that Ideguchu, 21, has left Elland Road on a temporary basis after only just signing for them from Gamba Osaka.
It has been widely reported that the Japan international has been unable to earn a work permit in England and therefore has been shipped out on loan until the end of the season.
Leeds have developed somewhat of a link with Cultural Leonesa and summer signing Ousim Bouy was sent to the Spanish side in the summer after he was snapped up.
It was confirmed by United on Thursday morning that Ideguchi would undergo a medical with the Yorkshire side next week and that it would be likely he will be joining Leonesa.
However it has now been announced by the Spanish side that the deal is done.
Football Insider verdict
Ideguchi is very much a signing for the future by Leeds but the club must not lose vision of what is happening this season. Is Ideguchi a Premier League player? Because the Whites have every chance of playing in the top-flight next term and that would mean the signing of the Japan international would be pointless. His loan to Cultural Leonesa is really not great. The Spanish second-tier is not at the standard of the Championship and surely there are better leagues in Europe that the midfielder could have been sent to in order for him to continue playing ahead of the World Cup in the summer.
