Dropped by Fox for truck racing – Tottenham fans react hilariously as Arsenal get set for Europa Thursday
Arsenal announced their line-up for their 6pm kick-off in the Europa League on Thursday night and Tottenham fans have taken the chance to put the boot in.
Tottenham are playing in the Champions League this season, and have already notched some impressive results, the latest being the 2-2 draw away at Juventus.
And after years of having to put up with Arsenal jibes, the boot is on the other foot at the moment – and Tottenham fans couldn’t resist causing some mischief on Twitter.
One American fan crowed that Arsenal had been dropped by Fox Sports 1 for Truck Racing, while another said their strong line-up reeked of desperation.
However, this could be Arsenal’s best shot of making the Champions League next season.
They’re currently off the pace in the Premier League again, and will struggle to make the top four.
Arsenal sit in sixth place, eight points behind Chelsea in fourth and seven points behind Spurs in fifth.
Here are the best reactions from amused Tottenham fans ahead of the 6pm kick-off:
