Early team news: Five Leeds discards pushing for starts against Fulham - Sky
By Alex Stevens
Five Leeds discards are gunning for recalls to the starting XI for Tuesday’s Championship clash against Fulham, according to a report.
Sky Sports claim on their website that fit-again Charlie Taylor will join central midfield pair Ronaldo Vieira and Kalvin Phillips, and attacking midfield pair Alfonso Pedraza and Kemar Roofe in pushing for starts at Craven Cottage.
It is said that manager Garry Monk has no new injury or suspension concerns as his side aim to maintain their promotion bid with a third consecutive win.
Taylor, who has not played since mid-December due to an achilles problem, and Vieira were omitted from the matchday 18 for Friday’s 3-1 Championship win against Birmingham at St Andrews.
Phillips, Pedraza and Roofe were all second-half substitutes and were important to the visiting side securing the three points.

Phillips turned the game in his sides’s favour with an impressive half-hour cameo after replacing Eunan O’Kane in central midfield and Pedraza scored the third goal with a cool finish to open his account for the club.
Meanwhile, Marcus Antonsson was a member of the Leeds travelling party that headed to London on Monday for the promotion clash after being called up from the reserves.
On-loan winger Modou Barrow uploaded a photograph on to his personal Twitter account of the pair sat next to one another on the coach en route to the capital accompanied by the caption, ‘off to London’.

Antonsson is recalled after failing to make the Leeds substitute’s bench for their last five fixtures.
Leeds head to Craven Cottage aiming to secure their third consecutive win and maintain their promotion charge.
Garry Monk’s side are positioned in fourth in the Championship with 64 points, eight ahead of seventh-placed Fulham, who have a game in hand on the Yorkshire giants.
