Early West Ham team news: Bilic to ring the changes v Tottenham - Insider

By Harvey Byrne

Manager Slaven Bilic is set to ring the changes for West Ham’s Saturday afternoon clash against Tottenham with three new players coming moving into the starting eleven, according to a club insider.

ExWHUemployee, who has proven to be a very reliable source of Hammers information claimed via their personal Twitter account on Friday evening that the Croatian boss is going to make three changes to his line-up.

West Ham played a midweek EFL Cup clash against Bolton, which saw them beat the Championship side 3-0 at the London stadium.

However, it is likely that ExWHUemployee is referencing last weekend’s 0-0 draw against West Brom in regards to the changes.

Experienced centre-back James Collins is a known casualty for the weekend match against Tottenham after suffering an injury, while the likes of Andy Carroll and Aaron Cresswell could also find themselves out of the side for tactical reasons against Mauricio Pochettino’s men.

The last time West Ham met Tottenham came in May at the London stadium when a single Manuel Lanzini effort separated the two sides in a 1-0 Hammers victory and Bilic’s side will be keen for a similar result on Saturday after a poor start.

In other West Ham news, Javier Hernandez has claimed he’s had more positives against Tottenham than negatives.
