Eli Junior Kroupi is interested in a move away from Bournemouth with likes of Manchester United and Liverpool tracking his progress, sources have told Football Insider.

The 19-year-old has enjoyed a strong first season in the Premier League and his performances have already attracted high-profile interest from the country’s biggest clubs.

He has played a significant role in Bournemouth’s surge up the table under Andoni Iraola and could be key in their ambitions of qualifying for Europe.

However, as I revealed on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Transfer Insider podcast, Kroupi could be tempted to leave Bournemouth for the right offer this summer.

The Cherries are believed to be bracing for offers as a result of his outstanding displays, with Man United accelerating their transfer plans alongside multiple rivals.

Could Eli Junior Kroupi be tempted to leave Bournemouth?

Football Insider revealed on 19 April that Man United are interested in signing Kroupi and have been keeeping track of his development in the Premier League.

The teenager scored in both games against Michael Carrick’s side this season, and recently found the net as the Cherries beat title-chasing Arsenal, despite blanking against Newcastle.

United, as well as the likes of Liverpool and Arsenal, are expected to keep tabs on his progress and there is a feeling he would be keen to make the step up.

Speaking on the Transfer Insider podcast, I explained: “Bournemouth know if the big clubs come calling, they’re going to find it really hard to keep hold of them.

“Some big clubs, the likes of Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool are all sitting up and taking notice of Kroupi.

“Bournemouth will be well aware of that growing interest in him. The player himself could be interested in a move away to be playing at the highest level possible.

“Bournemouth, although they don’t want to lose him, if a big money offer comes in for him I’m sure it’s something that they will sit down and consider.”

Who could rival Man United’s attempts to sign Kroupi?

Man United are far from the only club keeping an eye on the France Under-21 international this season, with the majority of top Premier League clubs interested.

Arsenal have been linked with the striker following his goal at the Emirates earlier this month, as Mikel Arteta plans to stregnthen his otpions in the summer window.

Meanwhile, Liverpool are also believed to be interested in Kroupi and could make a move as the addition of a new striker has recently risen up their list of priorities.

Football Insider revealed on 17 April that Liverpool will seek to replace Hugo Ekitike after he was ruled out for around nine months with an achilles tendon rupture.

The recruitment team at Anfield have already begun working behind the scenes to identify potential additions, and Kroupi could be on their list.
