England supporters have questioned how Noni Madueke started against Ireland as his final product has been questioned.

The 22-year-old started for Lee Carsley’s side as the Three Lions secured a top-place finish in Group 2 of the Nations League by defeating Ireland 5-0 at Wembley Stadium.

Harry Kane, Anthony Gordon, Conor Gallagher, Jarrod Bowen, and Taylor Harwood-Bellis all got on the scoresheet to round off Carsley’s interim spell in style in an impressive team performance.

Madueke was unable to provide any goal contributions despite the high-scoring game and the fact he had three shots himself.

The speedy winger was unsuccessful with all four of his dribbles, while only half of his eight attempted crosses were accurate.

Madueke was dribbled past once and lost seven of his duels throughout the match, winning only 22 per cent of the ground duels he attempted against Ireland.

England fans aren’t impressed by Noni Madueke

Madueke was kept on for 75 minutes before being replaced by West Ham’s Bowen, who scored with his first touch in the game.

Supporters claimed that the winger “thinks he is better than he is,” while others stated his end product is “so poor.”
