Eric Dier sends Twitter message to injured Tottenham duo after Burnley win

Eric Dier has wished crocked Tottenham stars Harry Winks and Erik Lamela all the best as they look to step up their recovery from injury.
The BBC claim Spurs academy product Winks injured his ankle during the first half of Saturday’s 2-0 win over Burnley, as he slipped over in the Clarets’ technical area.
It saw the midfielder receive oxygen and he was rushed to hospital after being taken off the field on a stretcher, replaced by France international Moussa Sissoko.
Spurs’ injuries are beginning to mount up, with Victor Wanyama also going off in the first half and Lamela going under the knife on Saturday to fix a groin problem.
Dier posted on his personal Twitter account after the away win in Lancashire, “wishing all the best” to both Winks and Lamela in their pursuit of returning to fitness.

England international Dier broke the deadlock during the second half, firing into the top corner from close range after Sean Dyche’s side failed to deal with a corner.
Relief was evident across Spurs’ fans, and eleven minutes later South Korea international Son Heung-Min confirmed the three points with a tap in at the back post.
The win comes as a crucial three points for Spurs, who have reduced the deficit between themselves and league leaders Chelsea to just seven points after Crystal Palace secured an unexpected 2-1 victory at Stamford Bridge.
However, the win has come at a costly price, with Pochettino now light in numbers in the middle of the park. Just Dier and Moussa Dembele are likely to be fit for Wednesday’s clash against Swansea.
In other Tottenham news, Ossie Ardiles has also reacted to the 2-0 victory at Turf Moor.
