Bayern Munich are interested in Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp, according to a report.

The Daily Star claim that the Bundesliga champions want Klopp to become their next manager at the Allianz Arena.

The report details that Bayern want their current boss Carlo Ancelotti to stay in charge until the end of the 2017-18 season at least, before making a move for Klopp.

Ancelotti was appointed Bayern manager in the summer and has won all eight of his competitive fixtures so far.

Klopp agreed a contract extension at Anfield in the summer that ties him until the Merseyside giants until 2022 as the American owners FSG made it clear he is the club’s star man.
