Everton could strengthen their team three major signings if they sell Richarlison for "top dollar" this summer.

That is the view of former Spurs and England goalkeeper Paul Robinson, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the 24-year-old's future at Goodison Park.

Richarlison endured a disappointing 2020-21 campaign and found the net just seven times in 34 Premier League appearances - five less than in his previous two campaigns.

The Blues reportedly rejected an £85million bid from Barcelona for Richarlison in January 2020.

When asked by Football Insider's Dylan Childs for his assessment of Richarlison's future, Robinson said: "Everton have rebuffed a couple of big bids for him in the past.

"It will be another test for them this summer and in many ways wherever he ends up will be a bid indication of where the club is at and what direction they are going in.

"If the board want to back the new manager you have got to keep hold of players like that. Yes, he has not scored enough goals this season but he is a top, top player.

"How do you go about replacing him? It would be a big challenge.

"But if you could get top dollar for him, £70m will do, you could go and strengthen in two or three positions. It might not be a bad bit of business for Everton in the end."
