Everton face third points deduction as Kieran Maguire drops bombshell
Everton are on track to face a third PSR breach next season after suffering losses of £135million over the past two accounting periods.
That is the view of finance expert Kieran Maguire, who exclusively told Football Insider that the only way to prevent a breach is if the club can overturn their losses with player sales before June 30.
Everton published their full 2022-23 accounts on Sunday (31 March) revealing a turnover of £172million and an overall loss of £89million.
The Merseyside club have already faced two charges for breaching Premier League Profit and Sustainability Rules in their past two accounts.

Regulations state that top-flight clubs can not exceed losses of £105million over a rolling three-year period.
With major losses in their past two accounting periods, Maguire is concerned that the Blues are in danger of a third breach next season unless huge profits are made in the summer transfer window.
"I think Everton have an opportunity to redress the cost issues from the summer of 2024 onwards," Maguire told Football Insider's Sean Fisher.
"That's where they have ended up.
"Everton now have losses of £135 million over the past two years, so it does lead me to be concerned that there is danger of a third breach.
"They have an opportunity in the transfer window before June 30th to address that."
