Ashley Williams recently spoke to the BBC about Everton’s season and fans have taken to Twitter to destroy the centre-back.
Williams lifted his head above the parapets to admit that it had been a disappointing season but made the mistake of saying it wasn’t the first time in his career it had happened.
He said that you just had to get on with it and that the season was almost over anyway.
His words were quoted on the Everton Blue Army Twitter page and there was a deluge of supporters following him on, all keen to have their say.
It doesn’t make good reading for the veteran 33-year-old centre-back, who joined Everton from Swansea in the summer of 2016.
Here are the best reactions from Everton fans who sound like they don’t want to see Williams in Everton colours again:
Not been great because of you and your shithouse decisions you absolute carthorse

Ending it with ‘we are towards the end of the season now’ translates to, it’s been crap but I get a fresh start after 7 more games so I don’t really care how this one ends

It's not the first time it's happened in Williams' career and that's not surprising. The fact that he's part of the set up makes being shite more likely

I can sum him up in one word… abysmal!

Should not see any first team action again.
