Everton fans have been left fuming at the Premier League once again after reports that they attempted to make the club pay their full legal bill.

The Times claimed that there was a failed attempt by the League to make the Toffees pay their £4.9million PSR legal bill, although the commission ruled they only had to pay £1.7million.

This comes following the two charges for profit and sustainability breaches Everton faced last season which saw them deducted a total of eight points.

On top of the hearings for both breaches, Everton also appealed the charges and an independent commission ultimately delivered the verdicts.

However, the Premier League racked up a steep legal bill in the process and after winning their case, wanted to have the club pay their fees.

This has led to further anger from supporters at Goodison Park who have made their voices heard about the way their club has been treated.

Everton fans rage at Premier League after latest PSR twist

Everton fans have been protesting against the Premier League since their initial ten-point deduction (later reduced to eight) was delivered last season.

Despite the Toffees getting one over on the League this time around in not having to pay the full fees, that hasn't cooled the anger from the supporters.

Now, with the latest update coming out of the club's PSR drama, fans have taken to social media where they have labelled the Premier League "corrupt" and "a disgrace".
