Everton fans panned Ashley Williams for his performance in their 3-2 Premier League defeat against Watford on Saturday afternoon.

The 32-year-old was partnered by the recalled Ramiro Funes Mori at the back as manager Ronald Koeman axed Phil Jagielka.

Stefano Okaka scored his first goals for Watford as they came from behind to seal victory against Koeman’s struggling side.

Romelu Lukaku scored the first and last matches of the game but in between the Hertfordshire outfit got plenty of joy against the Everton backline.

Here is a selection of their messages on Twitter:

In other Everton news, the club have tabled a £12million striker bid, with another £6million likely to seal the deal.
