Everton headed to the Liberty Stadium on Saturday in the Premier League with hopes of leap-frogging Leicester City into eighth in the table.
Swansea have picked up form dramatically under Carlos Carvalhal but conceded an own goal late on in the first 45 minutes to give Everton the lead.
The Toffees manager Sam Allardyce opted to axe Tom Davies in the centre of the park, handing Yannick Bolasie a place in the starting line-up, and fans despaired at his first-half display.
Wayne Rooney continued in the XI, despite showing his frustration in the 0-0 draw against Liverpool last time out when he was substituted.
Supporters were unhappy pre-match after hearing that Idrissa Gueye was selected alongside Morgan Schneiderlin as a defensive midfield unit, questioning the need for such a negative line-up for against a team sat 15th in the table – just five points above the relegation zone before the start of play.
And they were even more unhappy with the Bolasie’s display in the opening 45 minutes, with fans almost struggling to believe how bad he’s become.
Signed from Aston Villa nearly two years ago, the attacker was a favourite amongst the Blues faithful but since recovering from a cruciate knee ligament injury, he has struggled.
Here is what Everton had to say at half-time about the performance of Bolasie against Swansea:
#Bolasie is terrible!#Everton
But really the whole team is really very terrible!— GoodPeople (@GoodPeps) April 14, 2018
I can’t believe how bad Bolasie is

Wonder when Bolasie will ever complete a pass? ????

#SWAEVE Does anyone remember when Bolasie was good. He's a very pale impersonation of what he used to be. Shame….. Cue worldy from Bolasie

For all the tricks he apparently has, honestly don't think I've seen Bolasie beat a man for us

I could not agree with you more. I had heard so much about the return of Bolasie and could not be less impressed so far minus one nice goal.

Unbelievable that you can see something in Bolasie and not Lookman. The man is utterly useless
