Ronald Koeman was announced as Dutch manager on Tuesday and Everton fans took to Twitter in disbelief. Koeman himself put out a tweet telling the world his news as he said he was "proud" to be the new manager of the Netherlands. He won't be taking his team to Russia in the summer though, after Holland failed to qualify for their second straight major tournament. They finished third in an admittedly tough group, behind qualifiers France and Sweden. Koeman will instead focus on getting his team to Euro 2020, which will be held across 12 different European countries. Koeman's domestic career hit the skids at Everton after a disastrous run led to him getting sacked back in October. Sam Allardyce, who was briefly England manager, has taken over the job and gone some way to steering Everton away from the relegation zone. Most Everton fans were bewildered at how he's managed to land a high-profile job after putting in such a terrible shift at Goodison Park.
