Everton supporters once again heaped huge praise on Idrissa Gueye on Twitter following the win against Middlesbrough.
The Toffees completed a 3-1 home victory on Saturday to move up to second in the league and maintain their unbeaten start to the season.
Gareth Barry, who was making his 600th top-flight appearance, Seamus Coleman and Romelu Lukaku scored the goals for Everton, after goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg had put the visitors in front with an own goal.
Ronald Koeman continued with Gueye in the midfield and he delivered another solid performance in an Everton shirt, something which has made him a fan favourite already since he moved from Aston Villa.
The club’s fans praised the influence of the 26-year-old midfielder on Twitter and one fan claimed he is even better than PFA Player of the Year nominee N’Golo Kante.
Even taking the bias out of it, I think Idrissa Gueye is better than Kante.

Gueye’s style of play has drawn many comparisons with Chelsea’s French midfielder Kante, who played a crucial role in Leicester’s unlikely Premier League title last season.
He moved to Goodison Park in the summer transfer window for £7million and has forged an early partnership alongside Gareth Barry.
The Senegalese international has now appeared in every one of the club’s matches this campaign and is a senior member of the squad.
Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher has already praised the combative midfielder this season and labelled him as the teams best player this season.
In other Everton team news, they are weighing up making a record-breaking offer for their midfielder.
