Romelu Lukaku wants to be the best striker in the world

Romelu Lukaku scored his 50th Premier League goal against West Ham and Everton fans reacted with delight on Twitter.

The Belgian just can’t stop scoring as he netted his third goal in four games against the Hammers at Goodison Park on Sunday afternoon.

The 23-year-old has enjoyed playing against West Ham and it was his ninth league goal against Everton’s opponents throughout his career.

Lukaku has been in sublime form for Everton so far this season, scoring important goals against Manchester City and Crystal Palace, and netting a hat-trick against Sunderland.

Only Diego Costa and Sergio Aguero have a record to match Lukaku’s, with the Belgian adding three league assists to his tally of seven league goals this season.

Everton currently sit in sixth position in the league table, with a victory against West Ham moving them closer to Chelsea following another three points.

The Toffees had not picked up a victory in their last five games prior to kick-off against West Ham.

Fans were delighted as their star striker proved his form yet again, as the Blues bounced back from a disappointing 2-1 defeat against Burnley last weekend.
