New striker signing Sandro Ramirez started Everton’s match against Chelsea and lasted 62 minutes at Stamford Bridge, but Toffees fans were less than happy with his display at Stamford Bridge.
It was a disappointing Sunday afternoon for the Blues as goals from each of Cesc Fabregas and Alvaro Morata before half time ensured that Antonio Conte’s men ran out comfortable 2-0 victors.
A number of Everton players came in for some criticism from their fan base on social media and that includes Ramirez, who started just his fourth match for Ronald Koeman’s side on Sunday.
Many on social media felt that the 22-year-old Spaniard struggled to make an impact on the game, while others blasted his poor hold-up ability.
Here are a selection of their messages on Twitter:

Ramirez made the switch to Everton from La Liga outfit Malaga in the summer for a fee of just £5.2million following the sale of star Romelu Lukaku to Manchester United.
His final season in Spain saw him bag a fine 16 goals in 31 matches in total and both himself and Everton will be hoping that he finds the back of the net in England soon.
In other Everton news, this Toffees mainstay was omitted from the Toffees’ squad to face Chelsea amid reported interest.
