Hardcore Everton fans will not be priced out amid the £500million Bramley-Moore Dock stadium move.

That is according to finance expert and Football Insider columnist Kieran Maguire, speaking exclusively after The Daily Mail revealed that Everton are set to carry out a fan survey to test the waters in terms of ticket prices.

New premium seats and corporate packages are set to be available at inflated prices but the majority of tickets will remain at present levels, according to the report.

Everton have been given an injection of glamour over the past 18 months, with Hollywood arrivals in the form of Carlo Ancelotti and James Rodriguez.

But Maguire predicts that Everton will remain true to its core fanbase despite the move to swanky new digs.

“I think Everton are completely committed to retaining its roots,” he told Football Insider correspondent Adam Williams.

“If you look at the legacy proposals for Goodison, they want to leave something behind there. They are very conscious of the fact that they are an L4 postcode club.

“Their fanbase has been with them through thick and thin, and there’s been an awful lot of thin over the years. They don’t want to disenfranchise that fanbase.”

Everton owner Farhad Moshiri recently pumped an extra £200m into the club in the form of a 10 per cent share purchase.

He has also committed himself to a further £100m investment to help with operational costs in relation to the new stadium move.

In other news, Ancelotti wants to add a world-class centre-back option to his squad for the 2021-22 campaign, Football Insider can exclusively reveal.
