Football Insider verdict
Van Huffel must be a very good talent to be attracting so much attention as well as being able to impress Claude Puel during his trial at Leicester. The fact he has gone to the East Midlands club proves that the Dutch teenager may be more interesting in signing for a team where there is increased chances of first-team football. At Man United and Chelsea there’s little chance he will make it in the big time while Everton and Leicester will provide him with much less competition while also having very good training facilities. The Toffees’ track record with youngsters is very good as well in recent years so that could put them in pole position to snap him up.
In other Everton news, Stan Collymore believes that this 46-year-old manager will be a perfect fit at Goodison Park.
