Everton told to pay £20m for 30-year-old key target with one year left on deal - report

Graziano Pelle will leave Southampton this summer amid strong interest from Chelsea and Everton, according to a report.

The Telegraph claim that the Saints are looking for between £10million and £20million for their star striker’s services this summer.

Pelle, 28, has only one year remaining on his current deal and could now follow Victor Wanyama and Sadio Mane out of the exit door before the start of the 2016-17 Premier League season.

Everton manager Ronald Koeman is reportedly keen to land Pelle for the third time, after signing him for Dutch giants Feyenoord and then bringing him to Southampton two years ago.

The report claims that the interest in the Itay international spans further than just the Premier League, with clubs in Serie A and the Chinese Super League also eyeing a move for the centre-forward.

The move could be one of several new additions at Goodison Park this summer as Farhad Moshiri prepares to spend big in order to secure European football for the Blues next season.

Although he missed a spot-kick as Italy crashed out of the European Championships on penalties to Germany on Saturday night, Pelle represents hot property after enjoying another prolific season at St Mary’s Stadium, scoring 14 goals and providing seven assists throughout the campaign.

In other Everton news, this Euro 2016 goalkeeper is being linked with a move to Goodison Park.
