Everton transfer news: Richarlison tells agent to find new club after crunch talks - sources

Everton star Richarlison has told his agent to find him a new club this summer, Football Insider understands.

The 24-year-old wants to quit Goodison Park after four years to join a club competing in the Champions League.

A recruitment source has told Football Insider that Richarlison has told his representatives he wants them to explore a move going into the summer window.

The Brazil international has made up his mind and wants a transfer regardless of whether Everton succeed in staving off relegation.

He has two years left on his contract and is widely regarded as one of the club’s prize assets.

Crunch talks have been held in recent days about his future with Everton now facing a battle to keep one of their star men.

Manchester United are reportedly one of the clubs interested in signing Richarlison this summer.

Richarlison has been one of Everton’s standout players since his arrival from Watford in July 2018.

He has contributed seven goals and four assists in 26 appearances across all competitions this season.

No Everton player has been involved in more goals this term.

In total, the versatile forward has 49 goals and 13 assists to his name in 145 career appearances for the Toffees.

Richarlison is expected to start when Everton resume their Premier League survival bid against Leicester City on Wednesday.

Frank Lampard’s side are four points above the relegation zone with eight games remaining.
