Everton can make move for Ipswich star after source's Jack Grealish update
Jaden Philogene could be making a move across the Premier League following a dazzling 2025-26 campaign for Ipswich Town.
The 24-year-old winger notched 13 goals and two assists as the Tractor Boys earned automatic promotion from the Championship.
That was only after Ipswich fended up strong interest in January 2025, though, when he arrived at Portman Road on a £20m deal from Aston Villa.
Just 18 months later, however, and the winger is ready to leave the newly promoted side. David Moyes must be ready to pounce for his signature.
Crystal Palace, Barcelona and West Ham United are all teams previously linked with a move for Philogene, but the Toffees are capable of beating those teams to the punch.
With The Friedkin Group (TFG) in charge at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, the club is on the up, and supporters are excited for what's to come.
Jaden Philogene wants to leave Ipswich Town
All reports have pointed towards Philogene seeking an exit this summer, even after Ipswich won promotion to the Premier League.
Some might say that Kieran McKenna has left the Tractor Boys high and dry by stepping down, and very few are convinced by Gary O'Neil in the dugout.
That could explain why Philogene is eager to leave, and the Toffees can take advantage of the current situation if they act quickly.
It is understood that the player is eager to play European football, and should he sign for Moyes' side, that could be what he gets in 2027-28.
TFG are making strides behind the scenes, and Everton were unlucky to miss out on European qualification last term. That will ultimately be the goal next season.
Have Everton found a cheaper Jack Grealish alternative?
Predominantly a left-winger, Philogene is talented enough to cause any Premier League full-back issues, having done so much damage last term.
Everton had been expected to seal a permanent deal for Jack Grealish this summer, but talk of that happening has gone very quiet recently.
Sources have told Football Insider that Everton are only keen to pursue a deal for a knockdown price of less than £10million.
There is an expectation that Enzo Maresca's arrival at Manchester City could change the trajectory of Grealish's career.
Under Pep Guardiola, it looked like the winger had no future at the Etihad Stadium. Now, the picture looks very different, and Everton may need an alternative.
