Everton explore deal to sign Arsenal gem - report
Everton appear to be reigniting a move for Arsenal gem Ethan Nwaneri ahead of the 2026-27 campaign on Merseyside.
The 19-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan at Marseille, where he notched two goals and an assist in 11 appearances.
However, things turned sour for the Hale End product under Roberto De Zerbi's reign, unable to get off the bench in Marseille's final four games of the Ligue 1 season.
While he was over in France, reports emerged of a potential permanent exit for the youngster, with red flags raised over Arsenal's finances this summer.
Mikel Arteta has already lost Leandro Trossard, but with a big-money deal done for Christos Tzolis, there is still very little room for Nwaneri.
According to Matteo Moretto (30 July), the Toffees are joined by Fulham, RB Leipzig and AC Milan in exploring a move for the exciting winger.

David Moyes has not been afraid of throwing youngsters in the deep end, even signing Tyrique George from Chelsea on a permanent deal recently.
Nwaneri is certainly an incredible talent, one that would instantly improve the squad at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, proven by the records he has earned.
In 2022, he became the youngest player in Premier League history at the age of 15 years and 181 days, also seeing him become the youngest player in English top-flight history.
He also became the first player under 16 years of age to feature in the Premier League, while also becoming Arsenal's youngest-ever goalscorer in the division.
That record has since been broken by teammate Max Dowman, but having also become the youngest player in Arsenal history to score in each of his first two starts, there is no doubt over his ability.
He also surpassed Bukayo Saka to become the youngest player (since Opta records began) to complete 5+ dribbles and register an assist in one Premier League match against Leicester City.
What's Arsenal's plan for the 19-year-old?
During June, Mick Brown told Football Insider that Arsenal "want to sell" their academy project, with Newcastle United understood to be interested.
Those links have since gone quiet, but it will not be difficult to conjure up some potential suitors, with Aston Villa and West Ham United eyeing a deal previously.
Nwaneri's career has certainly stalled since his record-breaking few months in the Gunners' first team, and that's exactly why the Toffees should be confident about securing a deal.
Moyes will be desperate for more attacking reinforcements ahead of next season, with only four other clubs scoring fewer goals in the top flight last term.
